Stephanie Gibbs is the creative force behind the floral design studio, specializing in classic, timeless, distinct designs for large scale weddings and events. All while providing exceptional service and exceeding each client’s expectations.

At a very young age, Stephanie was always obsessed with anything pretty. She was the ultimate girly girl but also wasn’t scared to play in the dirt. Her love of taking a blank canvas and turning into something spectacular came from her beloved father. Stephanie’s creativity was inherited from her father who was known for coming up with the most special creations.

With roots in wedding planning, Stephanie discovered her true passion in the art of floral design after orchestrating several hundreds of weddings—realizing that what she loved most was bringing a vision to life through flowers.

Based in Charleston, her work blends the comfort of something familiar with the awe of something unexpected—"like home, but also like a vacation." Stephanie and her talented team are known for crafting one-of-a-kind floral experiences that feel both refined and refreshingly unique. Stephanie wants her client’s jaws to drop to the floor when they walk into their event.

When she’s not playing with flowers, you can find Stephanie hanging with her beloved black lab Bandit, needlepointing, attending another concert, spending time with her mama, older sister and three nephews, volunteering with animal rescues or planning her next trip out west to Montana.

At Gibbs Floral Studio, our crew is made up of an incredible mix of people: from moms of little ones to grown adults, college students to career-changers, and even a few proud aunts and nephews of Stephanie’s. Our backgrounds are as varied as our flower palettes—former marketing executives, teachers, ER nurses, equestrians, philanthropists, dog moms (and one very proud cat caretaker to Camellia, the beloved shop kitty). We bring it all together to create magic with flowers.

You’ll find us huddled over big installs, deep in conversation around the flower table, or laughing through Park Pizza Fridays. Whether we’re designing towering floral structures or getting our hands dirty in the garden, we show up with heart, hustle, and a bucket of emotional support candy—because let’s be honest, every great event needs one.

We believe in beauty, balance, and having fun while doing what we love. Our shared passion for flowers is only rivaled by our love for our families (and our animals), and that love goes into every single stem we place.
